Bro. Im killing my car on every hill and then im forced to burn the hell out of my clutch on hill. This hill assist is a plague. This video didnt clarify shit. Hill assist wont let you go when you let out the clutch and rev match and release the brake. It holds the fucking brakes like a e brake and you kill the car... i had an emergency vehicle coming. And i was on a hill at this worthlessly long light. Guess what?! Hill assist wouldnt let me fucking go. Im trying to pop my clutch and rev match and guess what. My fucking brake stays on. I coulda been rear ended or gotten a citation. What fucking idiot thought hill assist was a good idea?! I have the reflexes of a formula one drive. Ive tested to .09 reflex. 2 seconds is a long as time for me. So im sitting there. Waiting and waiting.

This is the dumbest feature ever. It doesn't save you any more gas than driving with your windows down or AC on. You will NOT notice the "savings" unless you drive EXACTLY the same way from tank to tank. Just puts more wear and tear on your starter.

Is there an easier way to transition between automatic and manual? I own a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the same kind of transmission, but I only figured out how to get it in manual by one hit downshift, but to get it back into automatic, I would have to go all the way to 6th to put it back into automatic as I’m driving. Is that how you do it? Or is there a different way?
